The Umbrella mark was inspired by one of the most remembered sights of Arnold Palmer's early playing days, when Renown Inc launched a range of casual wear featuring the brand in 1969. The brand soon had its recognition in Japan during the 1970s, and its popularity swept across Asia in the 1980s. YGM Marketing secured the licensing rights of Arnold Palmer in 1978, and it has grown from strength to strength since then. Starting off initially as a brand known for its practical golf-polo shirts and pants, to its current leading status offering a complete line of affordable American casual wear, crew-neck t-shirts, polo shirts, sports wear, golf wear, blouson, caps, pants, amid others.
